Description

Lead the architectural overhaul of a legacy embedded system to improve modularity and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the refactoring of legacy embedded systems into a modular architecture.
• Deconstruct and simplify complex make files to improve build processes and maintainability.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain C++ software for Class C (3) safety-critical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test embedded software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Expertise in C++ and embedded systems development.
• Proven experience designing modular architectures.
• In-depth understanding of complex build systems and make files.
• Experience working with Rocky Linux.
• Experience with Qt GUI for embedded devices.
• Experience working with Class C (3) or similar safety-critical systems.
• Ability to optimize legacy code and solve complex technical problems.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industry standards for safety-critical or medical devices.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated testing for embedded systems.
