Description

You will lead the architectural redesign of legacy embedded systems to improve modularity, scalability, and maintainability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor legacy embedded systems into modular architectures.
• Deconstruct and simplify complex makefiles to streamline build processes.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain C++ software for Class C (3) safety-critical devices.
• Implement and enhance system functionality using Rocky Linux and QT GUI.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Expertise in C++ and embedded systems development.
• Proven experience designing modular architectures.
• Deep understanding of complex build systems and makefiles.
• Experience working with Class C (3) or similar safety-critical systems.
• Hands-on experience with Rocky Linux and QT GUI.
• Ability to optimize legacy code and solve complex technical problems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industry standards for safety-critical or medical devices.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated testing for embedded systems.
