Description

Develop and drive complex embedded software solutions for product lines.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and design implementations for new embedded features with minimal oversight.
• Investigate processor/microcontroller cyber security controls, developing PoCs and supplier guidance.
• Develop software adhering to standards like MISRA, SEI CERT, and AUTOSAR.
• Collaborate with CICD teams to enhance build and release pipelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and lead quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience in embedded systems software development (hardware/software focus).
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Proven ability to develop embedded Linux systems and customize BSPs using tools like Yocto.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) and hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with Linux command line interface.
• Experience working with open-source communities to expand project capabilities.
