Description

Lead firmware development for embedded systems, owning the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time software.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware using C++ and Python.
• Analyze system architecture to integrate new features and modifications.
• Optimize computation for real-time processing using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Ensure seamless integration of firmware with embedded hardware components.
• Debug hardware-software integration issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Embedded SW development at a Senior or Principal level.
• Expert proficiency in C++ OOP concepts and advanced features.
• Hands-on experience with multi-process, multi-threaded applications on Linux.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing Digital Signal Processing algorithms.
• Experience optimizing algorithms for memory and CPU resource-constrained embedded targets.
• Experience with RTOS requirements and optimizing computations for real-time performance.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, DSP processors, and interfacing to FPGA.
• Experience working with C++ mathematical libraries involving linear algebra (matrices, vectors, solvers).
• Experience in agile development methodologies and using Git for source control.
