Description

Lead software development for new and existing embedded platforms within an R&D environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, plan, and deliver software for new and existing embedded platforms.
• Create and maintain software requirements and design documentation.
• Own the software toolchain and Software Development Environment (SDE).
• Automate build and testing processes.
• Perform software reviews, unit testing, and debugging at the hardware/software interface.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems programming using C or C++.
• Experience in real-time embedded software development.
• Experience developing software in multi-threaded and/or multi-tasking environments.
• Experience with hardware-software integration.
• Experience with software testing, static analysis, and debugging (ICE/JTAG).
• Understanding of object-oriented design and methodology, including UML.
• Experience with testing automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.
• Experience with commercial RTOS, embedded Windows, or Linux programming.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, including wireless and Bluetooth.
