Description

You will build software solutions for high throughput, low latency applications within the Derivatives Trading Development organization using C++ or Java on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the project life-cycle, including implementation, programming, testing, and maintenance of software systems.
• Provide technical direction on engineering projects and recommend solutions to management.
• Design and develop C++ and/or Java applications utilizing low latency libraries.
• Investigate, profile, and optimize the performance of software components.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of recent experience with C++ and/or Core Java.
• Expert level understanding of low latency and high throughput server-side development.
• Proficiency in C++, Core Java, Bash, or Python scripting on Linux.
• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling.
• Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to lead collaborations across multiple teams.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
