Description

You will lead the development of customer-facing web services and real-time data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Develop, deploy, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines and real-time streaming applications.
• Create architecture and design documents, including UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and ER models.
• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Maintain and enhance legacy systems, including SOAP web services and J2EE technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring Batch).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka internals, producer/consumer APIs, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry.
• Strong database skills including PostgreSQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), and ORM tools like JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with caching layers using Redis and the Jedis client.
• Competency in REST API development, documentation via Swagger2, and testing with Postman or Curl.
• Experience with build automation using Maven and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus.
• Ability to debug complex multi-threading and concurrency issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend technologies including Angular, React, and NodeJS.
• Knowledge of NGINX and Shell/Bash scripting for operational tasks.
