Description

You will own the technical direction and delivery of core application services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines and real-time streaming applications.
• Design and document system architecture, including UML diagrams, data flow, and ER models.
• Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on RESTful API implementation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate build and deployment processes.
• Debug complex issues involving multi-threading, concurrency, and production support across services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for developing microservices.
• Deep experience with Kafka, including producer/consumer APIs and Kafka Connect.
• Strong practical experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching solutions (Redis).
• Solid background in version control using Git and CI/CD tooling like Github Actions.
• Experience building and managing Java applications using Maven.
• Familiarity with designing for fault tolerance, availability, and low response times in distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and production support scenarios.
