Lead technical strategy and engineer large-scale data solutions for complex enterprise needs.

Responsible for advising leadership on database, operating system, and web technology development while resolving complex technical challenges requiring long-term vision.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic business objectives into technical engineering solutions.
• Architect and build scalable data pipelines using streaming and batch processing technologies.
• Mentor and coach data and software engineers to improve team execution.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational database structures.
• Drive technical decision-making for cloud infrastructure and data services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of public cloud experience.
• 3+ years with data streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Azure Stream Analytics, or GCP Data Flow).
• 3+ years of technical leadership, including coaching and mentoring.
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
• Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB or Neo4j).
• Data modeling and ETL development experience.
• Apache Spark development using Scala, Java, or Python.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
• 5+ years of engineering testing and analysis of cloud technology services.
