Description

Drive development across product layers to deliver features for customer-facing Application Web Services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines and real-time streaming applications.
• Design and document system architecture, including creating UML and data flow diagrams.
• Build and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot, deploying them via Kubernetes.
• Automate deployment processes by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Debug multi-threading and concurrency issues in production services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Micro Services architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Kafka, including producer/consumer APIs and Kafka Connect.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage state with Redis and PostgreSQL.
• Write high-quality, testable code using JUnit and Maven.
• Proficiency in Git workflows, including branching, merging, and Pull Requests.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with RESTful services and API documentation using Swagger2API.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and production support scenarios.
