Description

Lead microservices development, manage complex system integrations, and maintain production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new microservices using Java Spring Boot and Test-Driven Development.
• Create container definitions and deploy code to Kubernetes clusters.
• Integrate diverse software systems and maintain products in production.
• Perform peer code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with customers to translate requirements into technical implementations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Core Java.
• 3+ years of experience building microservices with Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Design Patterns.
• Experience with RDBMS including MySQL and Oracle, including SQL and DB optimization.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with search technologies such as Elastic, Solr, or Lucene.
• Experience with RedisCache or equivalent caching layers.
• Experience with Kafka and proficiency in Kubernetes.
• Ability to use more than one programming language.

Preferred Skills

• Describing software systems using UML or BPMN2 diagrams.
• Developing non-blocking Java code using reactive extensions.
• Integrating with Salesforce.
