Description

Lead the architecture, implementation, and automation of scalable OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, highly available infrastructure solutions using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Drive automation initiatives for platform engineering using Ansible, Python, and scripting tools.
• Manage multi-cluster environments, including VPC networking, storage classes, and cluster lifecycle operations.
• Implement service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio) and enforce enterprise engineering standards.
• Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native practices and lead platform modernization efforts.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
• Proven experience in multi-cluster management and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of service mesh, VPC networking, and Kubernetes storage solutions.
• Experience implementing security practices such as RBAC and OPA Gatekeeper.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong leadership and mentoring background.
