Description

You will architect and operate high-throughput, low-latency streaming systems and data platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build real-time streaming systems using Apache Kafka.
• Develop stream processing pipelines with Apache Flink for state management.
• Define reference architectures and engineering standards for data platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Deploy and manage data platforms on cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions, schema management).
• Strong experience with Apache Flink for real-time stream processing.
• Deep hands-on experience with distributed NoSQL systems, specifically Apache Cassandra (data modeling, cluster management, high availability).
• Proven experience designing and operating streaming platforms at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data platform deployment.
• Experience integrating data platforms in on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
