Description

Lead data center infrastructure builds and execute large-scale technology migrations for distributed server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Data Center Core Infrastructure Build Strategy.
• Develop neighborhood alignment strategies and execute technology and business-function migrations.
• Identify infrastructure dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure proper sequencing of migration activities.
• Perform hands-on coding to develop systems supporting migration, capacity planning, and progress tracking.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure solutions perform as expected.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale distributed server environments within a financial institution.
• 5+ years of technology leadership in Agile environments.
• 5+ years of Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Technology Operations experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on coding experience.
• Proven track record of successful technology delivery.
• Experience with Data Center migration strategies (Database, Object Storage, NAS, Backup, Unstructured Data).
• Ability to assess non-standard hosting environments (Unisys, Teradata, iSeries).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with multi-tenant application resilience and capacity planning.
• Military service or equivalent training in infrastructure engineering.
