Description

Lead FPGA development cycles from architecture through validation and hardware support for SWaP-constrained designs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA development tasks including architecture, design, synthesis, verification, and validation.
• Implement FPGA functions to accelerate software, such as checksum engines and packet parsing.
• Debug FPGA fabric designs in coordination with embedded processor software on hardware.
• Manage design closure focusing on timing, power, and area.
• Contribute to signal or image processing, filter design, and hardware algorithm implementation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in FPGA design.
• Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.
• Experience with Microchip Libero tools and PolarFire SoC devices/IP.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces including 10Gbit Ethernet, PCIe, DDR4, and LVDS.
• Knowledge of embedded software development for FPGA SoCs and joint design/debug workflows.
• Understanding of hardware security, networking layered models, and protocols.
• Experience with Linux and scripting languages.
• Ability to work with high-level design, simulation, and verification tools.
• Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using MATLAB and SIMULINK.
