Description

You manage and maintain large-scale big data ecosystems and distributed computing environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Hadoop and Cloudera distributions to ensure cluster stability.
• Manage data ingestion and processing workflows across the big data stack.
• Configure and maintain security protocols using Apache Ranger and Knox.
• Monitor and troubleshoot HDFS, YARN, and HBase performance.
• Support data streaming and orchestration through Kafka and NiFi.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in big data administration.
• Deep expertise in Apache Hadoop and HDFS.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera distributions.
• Proficiency in managing HBase, Hive, and Spark.
• Experience with Kafka for data streaming.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Ranger, Knox, and YARN.
• Competency with Solr, NiFi, Oozie, and Sqoop.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
