Description

Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the organizational IAM strategy to align with business goals and industry standards.
• Architect access controls, authentication, authorization, and auditing processes to protect information assets.
• Integrate IAM services with various applications and APIs using RESTful interfaces.
• Collaborate with security, TechOps, and IT teams to ensure compliance and robust data protection.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale, greenfield system design and architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with IAM, SSO, and MFA tools within a large enterprise environment.
• 5 years of professional Java experience and proficiency in at least one additional programming language (Go or C#).
• Deep understanding of IAM protocols and standards, including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with Keycloak and integrating IAM services via RESTful interfaces.
• Knowledge of software patterns such as Service Oriented Architecture and circuit breakers.
• Experience with database management systems, caching strategies, and message queues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing user-centric identity management interfaces.
