Description

You will lead enterprise infrastructure strategy and hands-on implementation for on-premises and hybrid environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure migrations, including VMware to Nutanix transitions, server and storage moves, and data center modernization.
• Architect, plan, and implement Linux-based infrastructure solutions ensuring operational stability, scalability, and security.
• Manage enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V) and oversee compute, storage, and backup technologies.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical production issues and participate in disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Deep hands-on Linux systems administration expertise.
• Proven track record leading infrastructure migration projects (e.g., VMware to Nutanix).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise virtualization, compute, and storage architectures.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office and technical documentation creation.
• Ability to present technical concepts to executive audiences.
