Description

Design and implement real-time distributed data streaming solutions using Confluent Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-availability, real-time data processing solutions.
• Design and manage Kafka components including Kafka Connect, KSQL, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
• Optimize Kafka performance, focusing on internals, delivery semantics, and fault tolerance.
• Define topic structures, data contracts, retention policies, and throughput scaling strategies.
• Ensure security and governance through RBAC, encryption, and ACLs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, distributed systems, and messaging architecture.
• Proven expertise with the Confluent Kafka ecosystem and its core components.
• Deep understanding of delivery semantics, fault tolerance, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Experience integrating Kafka with enterprise systems and modern data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Kafka Connect, KSQL, and Kafka Streams.
• Strong familiarity with Kafka security, governance, and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Kafka internals and optimization techniques.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data architectures.
