Description

You will set the technical direction for LLM, RAG, and GenAI adoption across multiple teams. You act as a trusted advisor to engineering and product leadership, evaluating and recommending AI architectures, tools, and frameworks. Your role focuses on decomposing business and product requirements into clear technology decisions and guiding teams through fast-moving technical change.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend AI architectures, tools, and frameworks for multi-team adoption.
• Decompose business and product requirements into clear technology decisions.
• Advise teams on best practices for AI agents to ensure quality and avoid "AI slop."
• Provide guidance and code reviews during the build process without executing the build yourself.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of senior or principal-level experience in software engineering or ML.
• Strong hands-on background with Python development.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Experience guiding teams through technology decisions and architecting solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based AI architecture, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with Java and .NET ecosystems for legacy alignment.
• Ability to discuss tradeoffs, pros, and cons of multiple GenAI tools and vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating at an architect or advisor level rather than pure execution.
