Description

Lead the mobile platform architecture and serve as the primary technical contributor for cross-platform applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable mobile architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices for React Native applications.
• Architect predictable data flows, local caching, and offline synchronization strategies while maximizing code reuse across iOS and Android.
• Develop scalable backend APIs and AWS serverless services, including event-driven architectures using Lambda, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
• Design and manage automated mobile deployment pipelines using Bitrise and GitHub Actions, including TestFlight distribution and signing.
• Diagnose complex performance issues, resolving memory leaks, rendering bottlenecks, and native bridge constraints.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience architecting cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of the React Native New Architecture (Fabric Renderer, TurboModules) and native bridging with Swift and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and S3.
• Backend development experience with Node.js or Java and microservices design.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, XState) and clean architecture principles.
• Ability to optimize application startup time, bundle size, and memory utilization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and event-driven backend architectures.
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and influence engineering roadmaps.
