Description
You will lead the design, development, and optimization of database structures and legacy desktop applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and scripts.
- Implement database indexing and partitioning strategies to improve performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server issues, including query optimization and deadlock resolution.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers to maintain product features and participate in scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Framework 4.7.2.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and database programming.
- Hands-on experience with MFC and Windows desktop application development.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Experience working with WPF and .NET Core.
- Ability to manage and maintain legacy Windows desktop applications.
- Experience with SQL database projects.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of C++ for maintaining legacy systems.
