Description

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of SQL Server database structures and legacy desktop applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and scripts.
• Implement database indexing and partitioning strategies to improve query performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server issues, including query optimization and deadlock resolution.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers to maintain product features and participate in scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Framework 4.7.2.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server and database programming.
• Hands-on experience with MFC and Windows desktop application development.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience working with WPF and .NET Core.
• Ability to manage and maintain legacy Windows desktop applications.
• Experience with SQL database projects.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C++ for maintaining legacy systems.
