Description

You will lead technical strategy and architecture for large-scale legacy modernization initiatives, transitioning monolithic applications to cloud-native systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design next-generation software systems to modernize legacy functionality while maintaining business continuity.
• Lead service decomposition by mapping features and database dependencies to proposed cloud-native services.
• Drive cutover planning, shadow traffic strategies, and validation workflows for phased migrations.
• Establish interface contracts, data transformations, and integration patterns for large-scale transitions.
• Analyze legacy functionality, including U2 behaviors, stored procedures, and enterprise-scale workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on legacy system modernization.
• Deep expertise in .NET and Azure-based architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL with the ability to trace complex data logic.
• Extensive experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
• Proven track record of architecting large-scale legacy-to-cloud transitions.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in Data Migration and SDLC processes.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive experience with healthcare, payroll, or compliance-driven systems.
