Description

You will lead the design and management of large-scale internet routing infrastructures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures focusing on internet routing.
• Troubleshoot large-scale network issues and manage failover mechanisms.
• Execute network security practices including DDoS mitigation and IP filtering.
• Manage internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and perform after-hours network changes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, WAN, and LAN.
• Strong knowledge of internet architecture and transit networks.
• Experience with network redundancy and disaster recovery practices.
• Hands-on experience with secure routing protocols and DDoS mitigation.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks with minimal guidance.
