Drive the enterprise network architecture program, defining strategies and leading solution design for leadership review.

Lead the creation of formal Conceptual and Solution Network Architectures. Interface with business and IT areas to define future IT project directions and build consensus. Conceive strategies and drive execution of approved solutions across the entire project life cycle. Ensure new applications and servers adhere to network best practices and support the Enterprise Architecture framework. Serve as a change agent, challenging the status quo and guiding teams to adopt improved methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of formal Conceptual and Solution Network Architectures for leadership review.
• Interface across business and IT areas to proactively define directions for future IT projects.
• Conceive strategies and drive execution of approved solutions across the entire project life cycle.
• Ensure all new applications and servers adhere to network best practices and support the Enterprise Architecture framework.

Required Skills

• 10 to 15 years of relevant technology network architecture experience.
• Expert level hands-on routing and switching architecture and engineering capabilities across Data Center and enterprise networks.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in multiple IT areas.
• Current CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification.
• Demonstrated success developing solutions that solve complex business problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex designs to senior staff.

Preferred Skills

• Well-grounded in state-of-the-art principles of architectural modeling and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience as a Network Solution Architect for two or more large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs.
