Description

You will lead the design and implementation of OpenStack platforms for engineering consumption.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OpenStack infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members regarding OpenStack architecture and design.
• Specify hardware requirements for deployments, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to OpenStack infrastructure and services.
• Develop automation and tooling for OpenStack deployments and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in OpenStack architecture and design.
• Deep knowledge of OpenStack services including Keystone, Nova, Neutron, and Cinder.
• Experience with deployment and configuration using Ansible, Heat, or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN.
• Ability to design server configurations, storage technologies, and network topologies.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and networking.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or VMware.
• OpenStack certifications such as Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA) or Architect.
