Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of complex Oracle PL/SQL programs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL constructs including stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, views, indexes, and constraints.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for high-performance, large-volume data processing.
• Perform performance tuning on stored procedures and SQL queries using execution plans.
• Implement and manage ETL processes for high-volume data loads using tools like SQL Loader.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable database solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong RDBMS knowledge and advanced SQL querying expertise.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience handling large datasets and high-throughput systems.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data loading techniques.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting.
• Knowledge of database modeling and data architecture principles.
• Experience working within Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of Core Java or Python.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M.
