Description

You will own end-to-end performance analysis for Python applications deployed on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance test environment, including test data management and configuration using Unix shell commands and RDBMS SQL.
• Script manual test cases using JMeter and execute tests via BlazeMeter.
• Profile and instrument applications using New Relic and AWS CloudWatch to identify root causes for performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze test results across mobile and SaaS offerings to propose technical solutions and tunable parameters.
• Produce accurate technical documentation based on test results and translate business scenarios into technical performance test scenarios.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in performance engineering.
• Expertise in JMeter for scripting and executing performance tests.
• Proficiency with Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Strong experience with RDBMS, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong investigative skills to identify bottlenecks within complex product architectures.
• Ability to translate business scenarios into technical performance test scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BlazeMeter and New Relic.
