You will lead the product lifecycle and strategic direction for POS and payment hardware technologies across a complex network of 4,000+ stores.
Responsibilities
Own the cross-team product roadmap for POS and payment domain areas, ensuring alignment with software and feature priorities.
Direct requirement documentation for physical hardware, including non-functional requirements like performance, usability, accessibility, and repairability.
Manage trade-offs regarding scope, resources, timelines, and total cost of ownership for complex feature sets.
Partner with UI/UX designers to prioritize design elements for physical touch points such as POS registers, receipt printers, cash drawers, and scanners.
Lead lifecycle planning by analyzing product age, service ticket trends, and business disruption costs.
Communicate product updates and strategic decisions to executive leadership and Steering Committees.
Required Skills
10+ years of professional experience in product management.
5+ years of experience using analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization.
5+ years of experience working directly with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
Deep subject matter expertise in POS and payment technology for retail, specifically quick-service environments.
Proven experience developing roadmaps, writing user stories, and refining product backlogs.
Experience managing enterprise-wide hardware implementations and vendor selection processes.
Ability to perform feature readouts using hypothesis-driven analysis and proxy data sources.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail store-level technology.
