Description

Own end-to-end solution delivery, converting business needs into validated prototypes and technical implementations. Lead architecture design, governance, and client engagements while mentoring engineering teams on AI-assisted development and platform best practices.

Responsibilities

• Instrument and leverage AI/agentic workflows (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate design, prototyping, code generation, and automated validation.
• Produce architecture decision records (ADRs), interface contracts, data models, and sequencing diagrams to enforce security, scalability, and observability standards.
• Implement and demo reference code or critical components using Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React/Vue within modern retail stacks.
• Facilitate workshops and make critical architecture trade-off decisions during client engagements and Dual-Track Agile processes.
• Mentor engineering teams on AI-assisted development, Dual-Track workflows, and platform best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience with recent hands-on coding and prototyping.
• 8+ years designing cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven architectures, specifically within Azure or equivalent environments.
• Proven experience in the Retail domain, specifically with POS systems and store operations.
• Expert proficiency with AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) for coding, test generation, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and REST/OpenAPI.
• Strong knowledge of relational/non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) and messaging platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certifications.
