Description

Lead development of control algorithms and software for mobile robots in real-world environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control algorithms for mobile robots.
• Write embedded C++ code using design patterns optimized for real-time environments.
• Manage threading and communication challenges within real-time or embedded operating systems.
• Deliver robotics and software products for practical, real-world deployment.
• Explain and teach complex technical concepts to the team.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in robotics.
• 10+ years developing control algorithms for mobile robots.
• Proficiency in C++ embedded coding and real-time design patterns.
• Deep understanding of real-time or embedded operating systems, threading, and communication.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in control systems, robotics, electronic engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of algorithms, optimization, and artificial intelligence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with linear and non-linear controllers.
• Proficiency in Bayesian state estimation, Visual Inertial Odometry, Visual Odometry, and Visual SLAM.
• Expertise in sensor analysis and fusion involving IMU, cameras, and other sensors.
