Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.

Build and execute robust automated test suites for modern web applications.

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.

Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.

Define and implement automation best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.

Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and improve test reliability and coverage.

Mentor QA engineers and promote automation excellence across engineering teams.

Contribute to continuous improvements in software quality, testing strategy, and development processes.

Required Qualifications

12+ years of overall experience in Software Development and Quality Engineering.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Expert-level experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI test automation.

Proven experience designing and developing scalable automation frameworks.

Strong programming skills with the ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code.

Experience testing modern web applications using industry-standard automation practices.

Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of Quality Engineering principles, SDLC, STLC, and automation strategies.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and lead automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a UI/Front-End Developer before transitioning into an SDET role.

Strong focus on front-end testing and modern UI automation.

Experience collaborating closely with development teams to improve application quality.
