Own the UI automation strategy, framework architecture, and quality engineering practices for scalable web applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Build and execute automated test suites for modern web applications, ensuring high reliability and coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and release processes.
• Mentor QA engineers and software teams to promote automation excellence and consistent coding standards.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot flaky tests, and continuously improve testing strategies and tooling.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall experience in Software Development and Quality Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Playwright for end-to-end UI test automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern web application architectures.
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Engineering principles, SDLC, STLC, and automation strategies.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a UI/Front-End Developer before transitioning into an SDET role.
• Strong focus on front-end testing and modern UI automation techniques.
