Description

Lead mobile architecture and complex Android product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex Android features and iterate on product requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Own end-to-end application delivery, including production deployment coordination and health monitoring.
• Improve and maintain mobile CI/CD infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and tooling support to fellow engineers.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex data, service, and platform issues to resolve operational problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 7+ years specifically designing and developing Android applications.
• Expertise in Kotlin (4+ years) and Java (5+ years).
• Deep experience with Jetpack Components, including Compose, Architecture Components, and Navigation.
• Proficiency in MVVM, MVI, or MVP architectural patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
• Experience with network integration using OkHttp and Retrofit.
• Competency in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, and Espresso for functional testing.
• Experience with SQLite using Room ORM and handling remote data via JSON.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Crashlytics tools like Firebase or New Relic.
• Experience working with Jira or Rally for project tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BFF (Backend for FrontEnd), GraphQL, and Reactive Programming.
• Knowledge of building Design Systems libraries and integrating third-party SDKs.
