Description

You will own the design, build, and operational integrity of the core platform infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and maintenance of core infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Architect shared infrastructure components including logging, metrics, service mesh, and load balancing.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
• Define, implement, and track SLOs/SLIs for critical services to proactively eliminate systemic issues.
• Establish deployment, rollback, and observability best practices across engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 9+ years experience building and operating large-scale, highly available, distributed systems.
• Proven expertise with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong experience implementing IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes operations and cluster management.
• Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for velocity.
• Strong background in monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting using Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and guiding operational decisions with them.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and Java application issues.

Preferred Skills

• Track record of eliminating toil and implementing automation across operational workflows.
