Description

Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) on Snowflake, defining data flow from ingestion to activation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own data models, marts, and analytical layers to build 360° customer views and segmentation.
• Integrate data from CRM, marketing, sales, web analytics, and product telemetry sources.
• Define data governance, security, and privacy frameworks ensuring GDPR and CCPA compliance.
• Mentor data engineering teams on Snowflake performance, cost optimization, and CI/CD automation.
• Evaluate and recommend modern data tools for ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data activation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• At least 4 years focused specifically on Snowflake.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or large-scale analytical ecosystems.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture including Virtual Warehouses, Secure Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel.
• Experience with ELT frameworks such as DBT.
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion tools like SnapLogic, Matillion, or Workato.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
• Experience integrating marketing, CRM, and digital analytics data sources.
• Solid understanding of data governance, MDM, and metadata management.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML or real-time data activation within a CDP.
• Experience in client-facing consulting environments.
