Description

Lead quality engineering for enterprise-scale systems, owning automation frameworks, data validation strategies, and CI/CD integration. You will drive testability, mentor SDETs, and embed AI-assisted tools into the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade automation frameworks for UI (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and backend services (REST, GraphQL).
• Design data quality validation frameworks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation across databases, pipelines, and integrations.
• Embed automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, defining quality gates, test stages, and actionable reporting standards.
• Mentor SDETs on coding standards, test stability, and flaky test reduction while influencing architecture decisions for better testability.
• Champion AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate test generation and code quality, establishing guardrails for responsible usage.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SDET or Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on coding expertise in Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Advanced SQL skills for backend data validation and transformation checks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Proven depth in UI automation, API/backend automation, and testing distributed microservices.
• Ability to operate at a Principal level, setting standards and managing cross-team collaboration.
