Description

You will own the architecture and delivery of complex, scalable API solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex API solutions with a focus on security and performance.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Java Springboot, RESTful, and SOAP APIs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and other automation tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance and availability using observability tools.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams on best practices for API development and security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, API development, and DevOps.
• Extensive experience with API development, including RESTful and SOAP APIs, using Java Springboot and Maven.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency with AWS services and familiarity with AWS Lambda development.
• Experience with Gitlab and Nexus for version control and artifact management.
• Expertise in API security protocols such as OAuth and JWT.
• Experience with API management/governance tools (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python.
• Practical knowledge of the DevSecOps Model and vulnerability identification.
