Description

Provide technical leadership to design, build, and deliver complex software solutions for the connected equipment platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mobile, front-end, and back-end solutions for the connected equipment platform.
• Refactor monolithic systems into scalable microservices architectures.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Influence system architecture, database design, and API development.
• Champion unit testing and maintain code quality across releases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on software development and application design experience.
• 2+ years leading engineering initiatives or mentoring team members on architectural decisions.
• Deep expertise in designing and operating high-scale, high-availability systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, especially in microservices architectures.
• Solid experience working within AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, Kinesis).
• Experience with containerized deployments using Docker.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Experience with C#, .NET, or Python.
