Roles & Responsibilities:

• Architect, modernize, and lead the development of scalable managed infrastructure stack for multi-cloud environments
• Drive roadmap delivery for the Management Plane, translating capability strategy into quarterly and Sprint plans
• Design and implement control plane architectures for cloud environments ensuring efficient orchestration, security, and governance
• Champion agentic and AI-assisted engineering patterns across development squads to accelerate platform capabilities
• Build and operate Nike's fully managed, multi-cloud platform and software-defined network infrastructure
• Define and enforce best practices for Managed Infrastructure and governance with appropriate security posture
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers while collaborating with Engineering Managers and Directors
• Co-own technical strategy and design for products or platforms with global counterparts driving architectural alignment
• Bridge ITC and global engineering teams ensuring Bangalore team operates as first-class engineering hub
• Operate as a platform owner embracing true DevOps practices with CI/CD and SLO-based operations

Experience Required: Minimum 14+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on cloud infrastructure engineering. 6+ years of senior experience including at least 3 years at Principal level. 10+ years of hands-on AWS experience across architecture, platform, infrastructure, and governance. 2+ years experience with Databricks.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or demonstrably equivalent technical background
