Description

Architect and lead the development of scalable, multi-cloud managed infrastructure and control plane systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and modernize the scalable managed infrastructure stack for multi-cloud environments.
• Drive roadmap delivery for the Management Plane, translating strategy into quarterly and sprint plans.
• Design and implement control plane architectures ensuring efficient orchestration, security, and governance.
• Champion agentic and AI-assisted engineering patterns to accelerate platform capabilities across squads.
• Mentor engineers and co-own technical strategy with global counterparts to ensure architectural alignment.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years in senior roles and 3+ at Principal level.
• 10+ years of hands-on AWS experience covering architecture, platform, infrastructure, and governance.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of microservices, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
• Experience defining and enforcing governance, security posture, and SLO-based operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks (2+ years) and Go programming.
• Familiarity with Ansible, CloudFormation, React, or Crossplane.
• AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
