Description

You will own the development of microservices and web applications powering data collection and matching processes for the online retail/brand execution suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next-generation Consolidated Matching platform to handle over 200 million transactions daily.
• Implement Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and CQRS patterns to meet scale and reliability needs.
• Deliver features efficiently using metrics to drive success and meet high-integrity commitments.
• Guide and coach multiple engineering teams on software design principles and best practices.
• Translate business needs into technical capabilities and contribute to the strategic technical roadmap.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep system design skills designing high-scale complex distributed systems.
• Strong coding background in multiple languages (Python, NodeJS/NestJS/Typescript, Java).
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Demonstrated experience in a Principal or Staff Engineer role.
• Experience working with both relational (Postgres, MySQL) and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with big data processing tools like Apache Spark.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
