Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-native backend services and front-end applications using AWS and modern JavaScript/React patterns.
• Lead by example to apply proven software design patterns and architectural principles to complex engineering problems.
• Develop and integrate distributed systems and APIs that support internal Nike platforms and partner applications.
• Provide technical leadership by defining engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and driving delivery of technical priorities.
• Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to translate product needs into scalable technical solutions.

Skills Required:

• 12 - 17 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor and technical leader.
• AWS (EC2 and serverless services) for building and operating production systems.
• Software design patterns and architectural principles for maintainable, scalable systems.
• Node.js for backend service development and integration.
• ReactJS for front-end web application development.

Good to Have:

• AWS Lambda and AWS-managed services (Kinesis, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3) for event-driven and data-centric architectures.
• AWS Elastic Load Balancing and AWS OpsWorks for infrastructure and deployment support.

Education: B.E., B.Tech in Software Technology / Computer Science or equivalent experience
