Principal Software Engineer

You will operate as a principal engineer driving technical direction and execution across complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and enforce technical standards for the team.
• Lead and mentor multiple teams on implementation best practices.
• Make architectural decisions that prioritize long-term maintainability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design pragmatic technical solutions.
• Drive productive technical conversations both internally and externally.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Java and common frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-level software.
• 5+ years of experience with Restful APIs.
• 5+ years of experience implementing software security best practices for platforms and data.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Experience with Angular or similar frontend technologies.
• Proficiency in Node.js and PHP.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
