Description

You will lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for the Snowflake Ops team in a remote, 6-month contract role.

Responsibilities

• Design and document high-level and low-level architectures based on stakeholder requirements.
• Develop wrappers and operators for Snowflake operations using Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Integrate solutions with Snowflake and AWS S3.
• Build deployment processes using Kubernetes to enable automated, continuous deployment.
• Deploy, monitor, and support production solutions while participating in Agile ceremonies and JIRA tracking.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of programming experience in Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Experience using JIRA for task and progress management.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and development practices.
• Solid grasp of DevOps practices.
• Proven experience working within Agile projects.
• Ability to maintain a 5-hour daily overlap with EST work hours.
