Description

You will lead the architecture and development of automotive embedded products, including ECUs, TCUs, and power electronics controllers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new software modules and functional requirements for automotive embedded electronics.
• Own the full product lifecycle from software design and documentation to flawless product launch.
• Automate testing processes and maintain manual regression suites for software releases.
• Align hardware test activities with development schedules using industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to refine product design and test results.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in embedded software and hardware development for automotive applications.
• Expertise in Embedded C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, specifically ARM M0/M1/M2/M3/M4, Renesas, Cypress, or Fujitsu.
• Proficiency with communication protocols including LIN, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, and RS485.
• Deep knowledge of peripherals and controls: PWM timers, ADC, DAC, DMA, GPIO, Interrupt/Exception handling, and Watchdog Timers.
• Experience with firmware debugging using JTAG, Single wire debug, RS232, and UART.
• Practical use of automotive tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL scripting.
• Understanding of IVN Network, UDS, KW2000, and IO vehicle testing.
• Ability to create test cases for Embedded C code and technical design documents.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience working specifically with Renesas microcontrollers.
