You will lead technical strategy and execution for large-scale legacy modernization and cloud-native transitions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect next-generation software systems to transition monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures.
• Lead service decomposition by mapping features and database dependencies to proposed microservices.
• Drive cutover planning, shadow traffic strategies, and validation workflows for phased migrations.
• Mentor senior engineering talent and provide technical governance for multiple modernization projects.
• Define organizational standards for legacy modernization user story development and SDLC processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on legacy system modernization.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep expertise in .NET and Azure-based architectures.
• Proven experience with microservices, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for tracing complex data logic across enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of monolithic architectures and modernization anti-patterns.
• Expertise in SDLC processes and message-based communication.
