Description

Lead the architectural design and development of the web UI platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, accessibility, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Architect the web UI platform with a focus on frontend performance, accessibility, and availability.
• Establish engineering best practices, patterns, and guidelines for frontend development across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, including conducting high-quality code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Plan and execute large-scale company-wide rollouts, migrations, and technical initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• 4+ years in a senior technical leadership role (Staff, Principal, or equivalent).
• 7+ years designing and maintaining large-scale frontend applications and supporting backend systems.
• 7+ years providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong experience constructing APIs for frontend applications.
• Deep understanding of UI architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
