Description

Lead the architecture and development of complex, cloud-native distributed systems and AI-focused platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, highly available distributed systems using microservices patterns.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs to support core platform functionality.
• Manage database and schema design across relational and NoSQL environments.
• Implement container orchestration and serverless solutions on GCP.
• Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and building rapid prototypes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases including Postgres, MongoDB, and Neo4j.
• Experience with SQL and database schema design.
• Experience with GCP compute platforms, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and serverless tools like Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or GCP Pub/Sub.
• Experience using API management platforms like Apigee X.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI platforms including Vertex AI, Agent Builder, and LangChain.
• Experience with Google BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
